I’ve been watching the ladies walking into the shop with this quilt in various states of being finished.  Finally a lovely lady came in asking for help putting the back together.  We talked about quilting and, guess what?  She brought it to me.  I was excited and intimidated but, having a picture to work from, got to it.

She wanted swirls that looked like snow in the white areas around the snowmen.

In the border she wanted feathers.  I also did Continuous Curve in the stars.  The quilting in the stars was kept pretty low-key to show off the feathers and the stars.

In the end it was a lot of fun!  And I’m looking forward to doing another one…anyone??
